17 year old Striker Lola Weise joins our Fall 2024 Women’s Soccer programme

Lola Weise is another very talented young women’s soccer player who has joined Sporting Chance USA from the prestigious Swindon Town FC C6 Women’s Soccer Development programme.

At 17 Lola is gaining a reputation as a highly reliable goal scorer. She has managed to exceed 20 goals per season at every club at which she has played. Lola possesses that  natural instinct as to where to be to finish off a move. She is both a natural goal predator as well as a striker who can score goals from distance when the opportunity presents itself. She has both natural pace, as well as strength to hold off a challenge, she is also two footed, which is an essential for any regular goal scorer. Lola is comfortable playing with her back to goal and is adept at holding up the ball and bringing her advanced midfield players into play. We firmly believe US College Women’s Soccer coaches looking to bring in a reliable goal scorer, should take a good long look at Lola Weise.

Lola began playing soccer at the age of 8, joining her local town club; Swindon Town FC Centre of Excellence. She joined as an u9 and remained at the Swindon Town FC COE up to u16s. During this time Lola represented the Centre of Excellence in both the Barcelona Cup (2018) and the Jordi Cup (2022).

Whilst playing at the COE, Lola also had spells at Highworth Town, Wiltshire ACC and Abbey Mead Vipers. She was the club’s leading goal scorer at all of these clubs. Her goal scoring feats also led her to represent Oxfordshire Schools up to u16s level. At the age of 16, Lola moved on to join Stanford-in-the-Vale Vipers u17s, who play in the Oxfordshire County League. Whilst at the Vipers Lola scored 25 goals and had 12 assists in just 11 games! helping her club become League, Cup and County Cup Winners (2021/2022). This season 2022/2023, Lola is playing her soccer with the Swindon Town FC C6 Women’s Development programme.

Academically Lola is a student who takes her studies very seriously, she has an excellent set of GCSE results and she is currently studying for her Psychology, Business & PE A-Levels at The Commonweal School in Swindon. When she moves to a US College in Fall 2024, Lola is looking to study a Sport related Major.
