We now have three of the best!! Sixteen year old Lois Beer has become the third Swindon Town Ladies Development squad member to commit to Sporting Chance USA within the past seven days. We must say that Lois would be an ideal recruitment for any US Women’s Soccer Coach. She is both an exceptionally talented soccer player and is also a straight A’s academic student. Her favoured position on the soccer field is attacking midfield. She plays the game with an intelligence beyond her years and is always looking to make the right pass and assist. She is technically talented and is difficult to dispossess when on the ball. She is also a ball winner and will never shirk a challenge. We think it is safe to say that Lois can also be relied upon to contribute her share of goals throughout the season, as she possesses a strong shot in either foot.
Lois began playing soccer at just 6 years of age. Her first local club was Highworth Town FC, boys team where she played up to u11s. She then moved on to join the Swindon Town Ladies FC Youth Development programme and also played for Swindon Spitfires FC up to u15s level. Her overall ability was soon spotted by the county youth soccer coaches and Lois represented Wiltshire County Girls from u14s to u16s. In 2016 Lois was a member of the club’s Gothia Cup (Sweden) squad helping them become the ‘B’ Cup winners. Throughout her youth soccer career Lois’s ability has been recognised by the fact that she has won numerous Player of the Year and Manager’s Player of the Year awards.
Lois is currently a member of the Swindon Supermarine Ladies First X1 as well as playing at the Swindon Town Ladies FC Development programme based at the Commonweal School, Swindon.
