Antoinette Salaveria becomes the fourth Swindon Town C6 player to join our Fall 2024 Women’s Soccer programme

Sporting Chance USA is delighted to welcome yet another of the Swindon Town FC C6 programme. Antoinette Salaveria has become the fourth player from this talented squad to join our 2024 Women’s Soccer programme.

Antoinette is an exceptionally talented wide midfield player. She is blessed with a natural turn of pace and has the technical abilities to beat an opponent. For a 17 year old, Antoinette has excellent understanding of positional sense and appreciates that as a wide player, she has to take on board tracking back and defending duties. She is a very good and accurate crosser of the ball and is able to do this at pace. Antoinette can also be relied upon to score her share of goals from a wide position and is excellent at timing her runs into the box.

Antoinette who lives in Swindon, Wiltshire began playing soccer at the age of 7, joining her local club Swindon Town FC Girls u10s, remaining at the club’s Centre of Excellence through to u16s. During this time she represented Swindon Town at the Barcelona Girls Cup in 2018 and the Barcelona Copa Jordi in 2022. At age 16 Antionette joined both Abbey Meads Vipers FC & Ashton Keynes United FC, playing her soccer on both Saturdays & Sundays. When she moved on to play for Stanford-in-the-Vale Vipers u16s, she was awarded the Manager’s Player of the Year in season 2021/2022. Antionette has also been a regular member of the Wiltshire Schools Representative Squad. This season 2022/2023, Antoinette is playing for the Swindon Town FC C6 programme based at the Commonweal School in Swindon.

As well as being an excellent women’s soccer player, Antoinette is also a straight A-grade academic student. She is currently in the first year of her A-Level qualifications, studying Maths, Biology & Chemistry. When she moves to a US College in Fall 2024, Antoinette hopes to study a Dentistry Major.
