We are delighted to announce that Hannah Marriott has joined our Fall 2021 Women’s Soccer programme.
Hannah is the latest in a long line of top quality women’s soccer goalkeepers that Sporting Chance USA has introduced to US College Coaches over the past six years. Although still just 15 years of age, Hannah, who comes from Dalgety Bay in Scotland, is already a regular member of the Heart of Midlothian u19s women’s soccer squad. She is also a member of the Scotland South East Region u16s squad.
Hannah is a very talented keeper, she is a great shot stopper, is confident dealing with crosses and she shows a great maturity in her overall decision making. Her coaches at Heart of Midlothian Ladies speak highly of her and see her as a player with great potential.
Hannah began playing soccer at the age of 11, joining her local junior club; Bayside FC u13s. After one year playing at Bayside, she was offered the chance to move on to play at Dunfermline Ladies FC u15s, where she remained for 18 months. For the past three years Hannah has played at the Heart of Midlothian Ladies FC academy, working with the club’s u15s squad. In season 2018/2019 Hannah was invited to train with the club’s u19s squad, quite a leap for a player four years younger. However outstanding performances have since earned her a First X1 place with the u19s squad.
Academically Hannah is well placed to earn top quality Scottish academic grades. She is currently a student at the Inverkeithing High School and is due to sit six Scottish National Examination subjects in summer 2019. When she eventually moves to a US College in Fall 2021, Hannah would like to study either a Sport Management or PE Teaching Major.
