We are delighted to welcome 18 year old Natalie Goodright to our Women’s Soccer programme. Natalie is a very talented and hard working midfield player, who can operate effectively in either a central or wide midfield position. She has natural pace and is able to beat an opponent with her excellent technical skills. Natalie is also a very intelligent young lady and possesses good positional sense in whichever role she is asked to play. She also has a good eye for a goal scoring opportunity and can always be relied upon to contribute her share of goals.
Natalie who lives in Swindon, Wiltshire began playing soccer at the age of 7 when she joined her local club; Swindon Girls FC. She remained at Swindon until the age of 12, when she then took the opportunity to join Swindon Town Ladies Centre of Excellence. Whilst playing at the COE, she also became a member of the Swindon Spitfires FC where she remained up to the age of 16. Whilst playing at Spitfires, Natalie won both the Manager’s Player of the Year & Players’ Player of the Year awards. Natalie is currently a member of the Swindon Town Ladies Development Team, having already represented their u18s squad. It is worth noting that Natalie is a qualified FA Level 1 Soccer Coach and is now looking at taking her Level 2 award. She is a regular coaching volunteer at the Girls u15s Centre for Football Excellence and also coaches at the Swindon Town FC (English League Div 2) Football in the Community programme.
Academically, Natalie matches her footballing skills with her ability in the classroom. She is a hard working and dedicated student and is currently in the final year of her CTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma and is also studying for her A-Level qualification in Geography. Natalie is a student at the prestigious Commonweal School in Swindon, Wiltshire, when she moves to a US College in Fall 2019, she will be looking to study a sport related Major.
